Our Beliefs
We believe that the Bible in the original writings, consisting of sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the work of God. It was given by divine inspiration and is, therefore, without error. We believe that the Bible is our only rule for faith and practice.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that because of the fall, all men are born enslaved to sin, spiritually dead, alienated from God, and stand in need of personal redemption that is in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. We believe all creation is under bondage to corruption until its release at the future coming of Christ.
We believe that the salvation of sinners is by grace alone through faith alone, and that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, shedding His blood on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the crucified Lord, through which Christ conquered both Satan and death and provided believers with eternal life.
We believe that all who repent of their sin and place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit.
We believe that all that are truly born-again are eternally secure; that is, they can never lose their salvation.
We believe that the universal church is the body of Christ, a living organism made up of born-again New Testament believers and that local churches are the manifestation of the universal church on earth. We believe there are two ordinances for the local church: believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial.
We believe that the local church is obligated to separate itself from ecclesiastical apostasy and compromise, and that its members are obligated to grow in holiness by denying the impulses of the sin nature and submitting to the guidance of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
We believe in the personal, visible, pretribulational, premillennial and imminent return of Christ. We believe that all humans will be resurrected: the lost to face the eternal wrath of God in the lake of fire and the redeemed to eternal fellowship with God on the new earth.
We believe that the world, animals, and man were created by an immediate act of God in six literal 24-hour days as recorded in the book of Genesis and not by the process of evolution.
We believe God created humans as male and female, and that marriage is only between one man and one woman. We also believe that God intends gender and marriage to be pictures of the Godhead.
